Tori Spelling isn’t just using NutriSystem, she’s going to be shilling for the diet company in a new ad campaign.

I can exclusively report that the reality-TV star and former 90210er will be featured in a national television and print ad campaign for the new NutriSystem Advanced program. This is her first gig as a celebrity spokesperson.

Shot outside San Diego in October, her ads will begin running next month on TV and in celebrity weeklies and monthly women’s magazines. A NutriSystem rep declined to reveal the company’s financial arrangement with Spelling.

The daughter of late television impresario Aaron Spelling has credited NutriSystem for helping her lose 35 pounds since giving birth to her and hubby Dean McDermott’s first child, son Liam Aaron, nine months ago.

Other ads for NutriSystem Advanced will include funnyman Ant and blast-from-the-past singer Tony Orlando. Touted as its first program that combines weight loss and “heart-healthy” ingredients, NutriSystem officially launches the product line tomorrow at a New York press conference.

Tori Spelling is happier with her body since becoming a mother.

The former ‘Beverly Hills 90210′ star - who gave birth to her first child, Liam, in March - used to feel under pressure to lose weight, but is now comfortable with her post-baby figure.

Tori, 34, said: “When I was young it’s always that thing - you can never be too thin. Now that I’m in my 30s - I’m married, happy and have a baby - I realise I’m at a healthy weight. I don’t want to get any thinner. This is what looks good.”

The actress - who married husband Dean McDermott in May last year - also has no plans to follow in the footsteps of her ‘Beverly Hills 90210′ co-star Jennie Garth by competing in US TV show ‘Dancing With the Stars’.

She added to US TV show ‘Access Hollywood’: “I think I’d be too nervous to do it. I mean the competition is insane!

“Jennie is unbelievable. I could never follow in Jennie’s footsteps because she is unbelievable. I am so proud of her.”

Tori Spelling has a real-life “Curious George” on her hands – her son Liam.

“We call him monkey,” Spelling told PEOPLE about her 8-month-old. “We started to call him that when he was little. I was like, ‘Well, you are a little monkey!’ And then it just stuck. He actually responds to the name monkey more than Liam.”

The TV star added his curiosity is endearing, and he’s already working on his comedic timing.

“He observes everything! If he’s playing with you and he can hear a tiny little noise across the room, he’s like, ‘What’s that?’ ” said Spelling, 34, at Beauty.com’s Around the Clock shop event in New York City Thursday.

“He also tries to make everyone laugh. So if he does something and you laugh, he stops and looks at you and then keeps doing it. He totally gets it and it’s really funny!”

Just weeks ago wildfires in Southern California threatened Spelling and husband Dean McDermott’s B&B, which is featured on their reality show, Tori & Dean: Inn Love.

“The fires did come close and at one point they were 4 miles from us and the town was evacuated,” she said. “When you put so much into something and spent so much time kind of redecorating the B&B and putting so much of ourselves into it and you think, ‘Gosh, in just one second everything could be gone.’ And that was pretty scary … But everything is fine.”

Tori Spelling’s Baby Says First Word To Shepherd….

Actress Tori Spelling was delighted when her baby son uttered ‘Mom’ as his first word - unfortunately U.S. TV star Sherri Shepherd was holding him at the time.

Spelling was a guest presenter on The View on Tuesday (06Nov07), when six-month-old Liam spoke up for the first time, while talk show regular Shepherd was holding the tot backstage - minutes before the show went live.

Shepherd said, “He said, ‘Mom,’ when I was holding him”.

Spelling added, “I thought, ‘Isn’t that a good story - the first time he says, Mom, and Sherri Shepherd’s holding him”.
