Shucking off the “Amber” portion of her name, Tiffani Thiessen joins the cast as “Valerie Malone” moves into Brenda’s old room at the Walsh household in the 5th Season debut of Beverly Hills, 90210. Shannen Doherty left the show after four seasons, and Thiessen’s “Val” came in as a scheming bad girl who quickly was at odds with Kelly Taylor (Jennie Garth).

Other folks you’ll see this season, in either recurring roles or as one-time guest stars, include NFL star Howie Long (as himself), soccer stars Paul Caligiuri and Cobi Jones (as themselves), Casper Van Dien (Starship Troopers), Marc McClure (Superman, Back to the Future), Stephanie Beacham (The Colbys, SeaQuest DSV), Wings Hauser (Tough Guys Don’t Dance), Michael Whaley (Profiler), Joey Slotnick (Boston Public), Alex Trebek (as himself hosting Jeopardy), Jennifer Aspen (Party of Five) and musical act The Flaming Lips.

Get all 31 episodes, including the double-length season finale, when Beverly Hills, 90210 - The Complete 5th Season arrives on DVD this July 29th. Running just under 24 hours in length, the set will feature the original full-screen video format, English - Stereo Surround audio, and subtitles in English, Brazilian Portuguese and Latin American Spanish. Pricing and package art have not come in yet, but stay tuned and we’ll update you with that and anything else we find out about this release!

Actress Tori Spelling, 34, and a friend visited the Glen Professional Center in CA on Saturday, April 19th. She and husband Dean McDermott, 41, expect their second child together — a daughter — in early June.

I was lucky enough to be able to attend the premiere of Kiss The Bride last night in Los Angeles. Tori was not able to attend because she had a bad case of the flu - which is kinda funny because I’m still fighting the flu too. Anyway, Dean did attend and he wore a cute little “t” pin (in pink) in Tori’s honor. I was able to take some pictures of Dean arriving, so I added them into the gallery. The film itself was pretty funny, there was some great one-liners and Tori was awesome in it. It’s definitely a film you should check out if it’s playing in your area.

With the early June arrival of her second child, a daughter, just around the corner Tori Spelling says she’s not nervous at all. Instead, the 34-year-old actress tells Entertainment Tonight that she’s “excited…really excited.” Like many moms, Tori says that she viewed this pregnancy quite differently than she viewed her pregnancy with son Liam Aaron, 13-months.

With your first pregnancy, you don’t know, and you’re just looking at the end goal…the baby…so you kind of fly through the pregnancy. And once you’re not pregnant anymore you realize, ‘Gosh, I really miss being pregnant.’ So this time I’ve really taken the opportunity to appreciate every moment of being pregnant.

That’s not to say that a subsequent pregnancy doesn’t present its own unique set of problems. Tori noted that the experience is “very different” than her first pregnancy “mostly because I have a 1-year-old.”

So, you know, usually if you don’t have any other children and its your first pregnancy you get to kind of be pampered and relax, sleep in…and I don’t get that opportunity because I’m chasing around my baby and he’s getting up early in the morning, so its hard.

The reality of having two children so close in age must have been very apparent to Tori as she sat down to promote her new film Kiss the Bride. She noted with a laugh that while filming the movie, she was pregnant with Liam and the movie “is opening and I’m doing press for it, and I’m pregnant with her.” Tori added that the producers of the film knew she was pregnant when she auditioned for the role.

So I was just hoping that they’d be okay with it. And they were great. They were very encouraging they dealt with it brilliantly, we just did a lot of creative things, holding things in front of me, turning to the side and wearing sweaters.
