Adapted from a story by H.P. Lovecraft. A Seattle history professor, drawn back to his estranged family on the Oregon coast to execute his late mother’s estate, is reacquainted with his best friend from childhood, with whom he has a long-awaited tryst. Caught in an accelerating series of events, he discovers aspects of his father’s New Age cult which take on a dangerous and apocalyptic significance.
I have added 362 captures from Tori’s TV movie, Hush into our gallery. Thank you so much to Michele for capping the movie for this website. Click on the thumbnails below to be taken to the gallery.
I was lucky enough to be able to attend the premiere of Kiss The Bride last night in Los Angeles. Tori was not able to attend because she had a bad case of the flu - which is kinda funny because I’m still fighting the flu too. Anyway, Dean did attend and he wore a cute little “t” pin (in pink) in Tori’s honor. I was able to take some pictures of Dean arriving, so I added them into the gallery. Click on the thumbnails below to see them all.
The film itself was pretty funny, there was some great one-liners and Tori was awesome in it. It’s definitely a film you should check out if it’s playing in your area.
I have a bunch of goodies from Tori’s upcoming film, Kiss The Bride to share with you all! The film will have a premiere on April 16 in Los Angeles, and starting April 18th, will play in select theaters. (You can see which theaters by clicking right here) I have added a bunch of photos from the film, check out some previews below!
When Matt receives an invitation to high school best friend Ryan’s wedding he’s surprised - especially that Ryan is marrying a woman! Matt plans to rescue his former love from whatever “she-devil” has trapped him into this huge mistake.
On the other hand, Ryan’s perky fiancé Alex takes quite the liking to Matt. Is she very cunning, disarmingly ditzy, completely adorable - or all three? As Matt tries to rekindle the old flame, Ryan is intent on putting out any sparks. Ryan dismisses their old romance as just a high school thing, but Matt realizes Ryan may still be the love of his life. All the while, Matt must deal with “his new best friend” Alex, the two families, and a hometown he thought he’d left entirely in the past.
“Kiss the Bride” is a sexy, fun, romantic comedy, proving the boundaries of love, sexuality and identity are never constant.
I stumbled across this link which discusses one of Tori’s current films, Cthulhu. It basically has a short review, so you can read that below:
Bethesda, a company that has paid homage to horror mastermind H. P. Lovecraft spotted a new movie preying upon the Film Festival Circuits; Cthulhu.
Unfortunately, the excitement of discovery was short lived. Although Tori Spelling leaves little to the imagination in the trailer, the clip really doesn’t seem to convey the visceral horror of Lovecraft’s ultimate force of evil. I haven’t seen the film, but I have little hope that it will live up to the high expectations set by the myriad of truly great horror videogames inspired by the Lovecraft mythos.
Quake, Alone in the Dark and Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem have all been touched by the slimy tentacles of Lovecraft’s worst nightmares. Bethesda’s interest is hardly coincidental. Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth is directly based on Lovecraft’s short story “The Shadow Over Innsmouth”. The company also included a side quest in Oblivion, “Shadow over Hackdirt”.
I hope I’m wrong and that Cthulhu will not be yet another example of a bad translation of story from books and videogames to film. Feel free to form your own opinion by watching the trailer.
