25 Things You Don’t Know About Me: Tori Spelling
Written by Jennifer on April 10, 2010

Tori Spelling, 36, (her reality series, Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood airs Mondays at 10 p.m. on Oxygen) shares the 25 things you don’t know about her with UsMagazine.com.

1. I love horror films! I’ve seen almost every one ever made. Even obscure B-flicks like I Spit Your Grave. Genius!

2. My favorite color is Kelly green. I used it on my Mommywood cover.

3. I’m allergic to cats, but I had three of them for years because they’re supercute and I work with rescue animals.

4. I hate roller coasters!

5. My kids [Stella, 22 months, and Liam, 3] are obsessed with Yo Gabba Gabba! It’s a dream to guest on the show and do a dance-y dance!

6. I’ve never had a cavity! God bless dental floss.

7. I love making Jello molds. So retro chic, and I want to bring them back!

8. Can’t whistle! After 25 years of trying, I’ve finally come to grips.

9. I dream of living on a farm. I want chickens, goats, cows and horses! We want to grow our own veggies and fruits and make our own milk and cheese!

10. I want to be Martha Stewart! A life of crafting, cooking and party planning — three of my favorite things!

11. One day, I want to open an animal sanctuary to house all the homeless, unwanted and abandoned animals.

12. I pray to Christian Louboutin (JK…kinda).

13. I love collecting antiques and want to go antiquing across the country and then open my own store!

14. My godmother was Barbara Stanwyck, and my godfather was Dean Martin.

15. I want a VW van — old school.

16. I’m obsessed with avocados. Eat one daily. Passed the obsession on to Stella too.

17. I hate drinking water. Can’t understand why something flavorless is enjoyable.

18. I can do flying splits! I think that’s why my husband Dean [McDermott, 43] fell in love with me!

19. Terrified of tarantulas. Spiders shouldn’t have fur!

20. Could live on sushi and be really happy!

21. I think truffle oil is god’s gift to cooking.

22. I don’t drink coffee. I know…weird!

23. I don’t grow armpit hair. Too much information?

24. I have never had chicken pox.

25. I played Humpty Dumpty in my high school play. Ironic, I know!

Dear Tori,

I’m so very, very sorry about your Uncle Danny. He was soooo precious, as are you!! You’ve sure had your share of heartache, but thank goodness you have a beautiful family & such wonderful friends, which also makes you very blessed. However, I realize you are aware of what you have.

I have a daughter very much like your mother, so I can truly sympathize with a lot of your turmoil. Just remember, you are truly one in a million, no, make that one in a BILLION!!!! Why do you think your mother is like she is toward you? She Knows!

Much Love & Hugs to you all!!!

Tori, My 31 year old grand daughter and Liam share the same birthday MArch 13th. Since she was born, she is also called Monkey…So Monkey and Monkey have something in common..She has so many monkey items..At her high school graduation, we threw small stuffed monkeys at her. So much fun. Just wanted you to know that your Monkey has another Monkey birthday friend. Your children are so beautiful…

How do you stay looking sooo young? I too don’t like coffee (bad accident when I was young). My 11 yr old daughter would also like to live on a lot of property and take care all of the animals that she could. First she was going to swim with the dolphine’s at SeaWorld, then become a Vet. now just rescue animals. I saw tonight show where you were going through all of your photos and said that you don’t have them in albums. I wanted to let you know that even though I live in Wash. state, I put scrapbook photo albums together for people who don’t have time or just don’t scrapbok. If you are ever in Wash. state let me know. I would love scrapbook your memories. Email me anytime :) I hope that you have a fun day!

Did you ever consider that the man who Liam is/was seeing in his bedroom this past episode could be your dad? Children and animals apparently can see spirits and he wouldn’t be familiar with your dad as he never met him – so wouldn’t call him by name. If 2 men then maybe your uncle and dad are around your kids.

I have just finished a marathon of your 2009 shows and loved loved loved them…I can so understand why you want to have family around. I have a wonderful hubby that adores me the way that Dean adores you. I have had 2 childen, however, my 21 year old son passed away from a traffic accident almost 13 years ago this Mother’s Day, and a daughter who is 39 and has 2 children that I would love to see, but she wants nothing to do with me because she doesn’t like the way I raised her..too bad parenthood doesn’t come with a manuel. I have tried and tried to get things back on track but as always nothing… Just keep on doing what you are doing and love your family and know that the people that talk about you are just jealous and petty. You are adorable and you make me smile….

Hi Tori. I agree with Brenda and Dee. I saw your May 3rd episode and thought, “wow…she is living my life.” I have say that Dean sounds just like my husband did this time last year. Sad to say that my husband’s anger escalated into something more that I could ever imagine and I would not want that for you. We are now separated and although it is hard raising my girls alone, I know I am better for it.

I totally felt your pain in that episode and said a lot of the same things. I really hope that whatever Dean needs to make himself happy, that he will find it. It isn’t in racing, or scuba, or whatever activity he takes on. It has to come from within. I just hope that you don’t lose yourself while he is trying to find himself!

I wish you all the best.
