Nothing Compares to Family
Starlet Tori Spelling and her 13-month-old son, Liam, are the first celebrity pairing to kick off a new ad campaign for SKECHERS USA, Inc. called “Nothing Compares to Family.” This promotion, slated to run through 2009, stars some of today’s popular celebrity families and benefits children’s charities with ads breaking in celebrity weekly magazines and other fashion and lifestyle glossies.SKECHERS plans to rotate a variety of different celebrity families throughout the campaign, featuring mothers and small children and adult celebrities with their sisters, brothers, parents and grandparents. At the heart of the campaign is SKECHERS’ commitment to family. Each ad will be tagged with a charity of the celebrity’s choice, ones that are family-related, such as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International or Habitat for Humanity, which builds homes for families. SKECHERS joins Tori in support of The K.I.D.S. Foundation.

Dear Tori, I have watched you grow up from the beginning of 90210 and have admired you since then. I am a 62 yr. old woman, so not one of your younger fans. I also loved your Father and his brillantcy and what he gave to the film world. I neve miss your show and had to laugh at some of you and Dean’s antics on the chatu especoides. I just wanted you to know that not all your fans are not young. I love how much Dean shows his love for you and family. Your book is on a waiting list in my city, so I can’t wait to read it. Good luck on your new daughter (in waiting) and your lovely son.

Dear Tori,Im a older fan too.Im 54 old enough to be your mother.I have a daughter your age with two children girl and boy,You touched my heart so much on your last show when you cried about your Mom and that you just wanted to be close to her.I had the same with my mom Tori and you know what it took me years to realize she was the one with a problem not me,I know it still hurts but you can stop the cycle with your children.I became a good mother and a better Nanna then my Mom so my daughter wouldnt feel the pain I did,and you can do the same its hard because we cant pick our parents and if we could I would not of pick my mother.I know Its sounds like a nutty fan but you act so down to earth like my own daughter,I would love to adopt you to show you what a Mom can be like and that cute Liam could have a Nanna.But keep up your chin love your family and dont let your mom take away from your happy times she cant help the way she is her mom must of done the same to her!So Ill keep you in my thoughts for good thing ahead and your daughter thats on her way that you can have the things you wanted with your mom,those are the things you have control of. Just finished your book. It surprises me how one see’ life. The grass is always greener…Those who don’t have ,wish they did..those who have, don’t have it as good as we think. I’m sorry that you had such a difficult life with your Mother, but know that these were HER problems..not your’s. You will be all that she wasn’t in a Mother. It is already showingwith your son. Congratulations on your beautiful daughter. I’m sure you will do right by her. The way your Mother was?is missed out on a lovely daughter. Someday she will relize it. God Bless you and your family
